VOLUNTERISM (is that a word?)

I volunteered 6 hours over a three week period. Two hours every Sunday (4-6pm). It sounds so simple but yesterday was my first wknd and it was exhausting!  To be honest, I only lasted 90 mins *hangs head in shame* BUT it's weird, like with each call I am trespassing on pvt property. I am that person whom I loathe, the person making my phone ring and telemarketing! Yesterday was for Alan Grayson in Florida.  Next week is for Harry Reid.  That one scares me because that wakko Sharron Angle is running neck to neck with Reid!
